The renaissance painter Raffaello Sanzio ‘Raphael’, depicted Saint George fighting the dragon wearing dark armour and dressing his horse with a coral-coloured saddle. These two colours are the ones we have used for the third kit. Legend also has it that when the dragon was killed, the dragon's blood turned into roses, hence the weave that covers the front and back of the shirt. All of this is presided over by the cross of St. George as the main representative symbol.
